Mumbai: Vikhroli police arrested and booked a 25-year-old man for allegedly slitting the throat of a 37-year-old woman at her residence. The accused, Hinsa Shafiq Shah, and the deceased, Sunam Surajlal, were allegedly in a love affair.
On the basis of technical and human intelligence, police arrested Shah. He told police that he and Sunam worked at the same purse-making unit where they fell in love but Sunam was blackmailing him to get married, so he killed her. tnn
