Balasore: A 28-year-old man died when a truck hit him while he was out for his morning walk near Panapana on NH-16 in Balasore district on Saturday. The deceased, Bijay Jena, is from Nuapada village under Panapana panchayat. The collision caused severe injuries on his right leg and a fatal head injury. Locals immediately alerted emergency services and he was rushed to Khantapada CHC in a 108 ambulance. Doctors declared him brought dead. Police have launched a search for the truck and its driver.TNN
