Chennai: A man was found dead with injuries on his head near Periyapalayam on Sunday. Police, who launched a hunt for the killers, said Shankar, 30, of Chinnampedupettai, was employed as a lift mechanic at a firm in Chennai.
Some passersby saw his body near a lake and alerted police, who sent the body to Tiruvallur govt hospital for postmortem. Police are checking CCTV footage, his call record and questioning his friends to know if he had any previous enmity.tnn
