Bengaluru: A 41-year-old marketing executive was found dead in his car near Tindlu in North-East Bengaluru late Saturday night. Ashwin Kumar, a resident of Gokul Extension in Yeshwantpur and hailing from Ooty, is suspected to have died of cardiac arrest, police said.
According to a complaint filed by his family member, Kumar left his house around 9.30am in his car (Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Flex). While driving near Tindlu village, he stopped the car on the roadside. The family members tried to reach him on his mobile phone, and when he didn’t respond to the calls, they approached Kodigehalli police. Police traced his mobile tower location and reached the spot to find Kumar in the car. As there was no response, police broke open the car window glass and opened the door to find him dead.
“The scene of crime officers (SOCO) team visited the spot and collected samples. These have been sent to the forensic science laboratory, and the result is awaited,” an officer said.
A case of unnatural death has been registered.
