Hyderabad: A 38-year-old man was killed while his wife and son were seriously injured when their car collided with a truck on the ORR at Dundigal on Tuesday morning.
Police said the family, originally from Khammam, was residing in Nizampet. They had gone to Khammam two days ago.
The accident took place when D Karthik, his wife Sindhu and their son were returning to the city from Khammam. Their car hit the truck from behind, killing Karthik on the spot. Sindhu and their son are undergoing treatment at a govt hospital in Secunderabad.
Based on the vehicle number, the victims were identified and their families were alerted, said police. TNN
