Koraput: A 60-year-old man died, and his 12-year-old grandson was critically injured in a bee attack in a forest near Barangbadi village under Machkund police station limits in Koraput district on Tuesday.
The deceased, identified as Suku Pradhani, and his grandson Tinu were grazing cattle when they were attacked by a swarm of bees. Police said both of them were shifted to Lamataput hospital, where Suku succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
“Tinu is currently being treated in the hospital,” an officer said. TNN
