MUMBAI: The Maharashtra State Commission for Women recently felicitated
Dr. Faizan Ahmed Azizi, President and Chief Representative at the United Nations of the Human
Social Care Foundation, for his unwavering dedication and relentless advocacy in championing
the rights and well-being of women and girl children.
Advocate Gauri Chhabria, member of the Maharashtra State Commission for Women, presented the
letter, highlighting Dr. Azizi’s “unwavering commitment and dedication” to the cause.
The letter specifically acknowledges his efforts in “creating awareness about important issues like gender
equality, education, and safety,” which have significantly influenced the community and played
a pivotal role in women’s empowerment.
“Dr. Azizi’s voice has elevated the concerns of those who are often not heard, bringing greater
attention and promoting meaningful change in our community,” stated Advocate Chhabria in the
letter. “We continue to make strides toward a more equitable and just society through the collective efforts of individuals like him. His compassion, courage, and advocacy serve as a beacon of hope and encouragement to countless others.”
The Maharashtra State Commission for Women emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in advancing women’s rights and assured Dr. Azizi of their continued support in his noble endeavours.
Dr. Faizan Ahmed Azizi, President of the Human Social Care Foundation, has been instrumental in addressing critical issues affecting women and girl child through various initiatives focused on education, safety, and empowerment. Dr. Azizi’s humanitarian work is appreciated and acknowledged by world top national and international personalities like Narendra Modi Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh, former Prime Minister of India during his tenure, late V.P. His book has also been placed in Oxford, Cambridge university and many other world top institutions. His suggestions for framing the New Education Policy of India 2016 were also considered.
