BHOPAL: The Madhya Pradesh School Education Department announced the results of the Class 5 and Class 8 board examinations on Friday. The pass percentage for Class 5 reached 92.70%, reflecting a 2% improvement from the previous year’s 90.97%. Similarly, the Class 8 results showed a 3% increase, reaching 90.02% compared to last year’s 87.71%.
In the Class 5 examinations, girls outperformed boys, with a pass percentage of 94.12% compared to 91.38% for boys. Similarly, in Class 8, girls achieved a pass percentage of 91.72%, while boys secured 88.41%.
In Class 5, the Shahdol division and Dindori district achieved the highest rankings. The top-performing divisions were Shahdol, Chambal, Narmadapuram, Indore, Jabalpur, Bhopal, Gwalior, Rewa, Ujjain, and Sagar. Leading districts included Dindori, Narsinghpur, Balaghat, Mandla, Anuppur, Jhabua, Sidhi, Sehore, Alirajpur, and Chhindwara.
In Class 8, Indore division and Narsinghpur district secured the top positions. The highest-ranking divisions were Indore, Narmadapuram, Shahdol, Chambal, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Ujjain, Gwalior, Rewa, and Sagar. Top districts included Narsinghpur, Alirajpur, Dindori, Jhabua, Balaghat, Anuppur, Sehore, Chhindwara, Barwani, and Mandla.

Results can be accessed at https://www.rskmp.in/result.aspx. The website efficiently handled over 70,000 users per minute through multiple servers. Students who did not pass will be given another opportunity to take examinations in the subjects they failed.
The examinations saw participation from 23 lakh students across 1,12,323 institutions, including government schools, private schools, and madrasas. Rural schools numbered 95,417, while urban schools totalled 16,906. The distribution included 86,553 government schools, 25,101 private schools, and 669 madrasas.
In Class 5, 11,17,961 students participated (8,24,598 from rural areas and 2,93,363 from urban areas). In Class 8, 11,68,866 students took part (8,35,733 from rural areas and 3,33,133 from urban areas).
The examination utilised district-specific question papers across 12,623 examination centres and 322 evaluation centres. Answer sheets were evaluated at development blocks and district headquarters, with results recorded via a mobile application at the evaluation centres.
State Education Center Director Harjinder Singh announced the results through the examination portal.
