Madhubani DM issues key directives to improve administrative efficiency | Patna News – Times of India

Madhubani: District magistrate (DM) Anand Sharma held a meeting with the head clerks and assistants of various offices at the collectorate and issued important directives aimed at improving administrative efficiency. During the meeting, the DM instructed all head clerks and assistants to maintain key registers regarding incoming, dispatch, stock, and leave in a complete and up-to-date manner. Emphasising the importance of record-keeping, he directed that all entries must be diligently maintained. The DM also reviewed matters related to service benefits, departmental disciplinary actions, High Court, DC letters, and Lokayukta. He gave clear instructions regarding the disposal of public grievances, questions raised in the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha about the district, and other official correspondences. He stressed that the last page of the main stock register in every office must be verified and signed by the head assistant of that office. Expressing displeasure over the absence of a few clerks, he ordered that an explanation be sought from them immediately. The meeting was attended by collectorate deputy collector Shashi Kumar and all head assistants of the respective offices.
