Leadership program for teachers at IIM-Bodh Gaya | Patna News – Times of India


Patna: For the first time in Bihar, IIM-Bodh Gaya organised three batches of the nurturing future leadership programme (NFLP) from June to July 2024. Conceptualised by the ministry of education under the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MMTTP), NFLP is a 5-day residential leadership training programme for faculty from publicly funded higher educational institutes.
Delivered by top NIRF-ranked institutes, including six IITs and 14 IIMs, the programme aims to enhance faculty capacity building. In the final batch, 22 faculty members from institutions such as Delhi University and Banaras Hindu University participated. Sessions on management and leadership, led by Vinita S Sahay, director of IIM-Bodh Gaya, focused on leadership in academic institutions and goal alignment. Participants found her sessions very useful for understanding decision-making and capacity building.
Other sessions included contemporary management concepts like data visualization and design thinking. Participants said the programme’s learnings would enhance their professional capabilities. TNN
