Lalu attacks NDA govt, Giriraj takes a swipe at RJD chief | Patna News – Times of India

Patna: Ahead of the next meeting of the INDI Alliance in Patna on June 12 to discuss election strategy with the newly formed committees, RJD chief Lalu Prasad on Sunday targeted the state govt over the law and order situation in Bihar. In a social media post, Lalu stated that criminals have become unbridled in Bihar. “Bureaucracy is dominant. The govt does not care about the common people.” Lalu posted. He further said there is record-breaking inflation in the country. People of the country, including Bihar, are reeling under poverty, unemployment, migration and corruption. In Bihar, there is a sham in the name of work, he said.“Unbridled criminals, drunken bureaucracy and unconscious govt, record-breaking inflation, poverty, unemployment, migration and corruption, this is the 20-year-old NDA govt that has ruined Bihar!” he posted on social media.His remarks came after BJP firebrand leader and Union minister Giriraj Singh accused Lalu of thinking only about how to make his son Tejashwi Yadav the chief minister of Bihar. “Lalu is only dreaming of making his son the chief minister. There is no mutual coordination among the constituent parties of the Mahagathbandhan. This alliance is not a combination of ideas, but a combination of greed for power,” the Begusarai MP said.Reacting to Congress in charge of Bihar, Krishna Allavaru’s statement, Giriraj said that this is not a “gathbndhan” but a “thugbandhan”.Allavaru said Tejashwi is the chairman of the coordination committee of the INDI Alliance in Bihar, but he has not yet been declared the chief ministerial face of the alliance.
