KTR slams BJP silence on ED chargesheet against Revanth | Hyderabad News

Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao has questioned the central govt’s silence on Telangana CM A Revanth Reddy being named in the Enforcement Directorate’s chargesheet in the National Herald money laundering case. The ED alleged that Revanth, when he was state Congress chief, had solicited funds for Young India Private Ltd in exchange for political favours.KTR asked, “Will the BJP act now that Revanth is chargesheeted, or continue shielding him like in previous scams — the Amrut scam, RR tax scam, civil supplies scam? Are they all to be brushed under the carpet?”He also questioned Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s silence. “Even when Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy accused Revanth of buying the TPCC post for ₹50 crore, the party turned a blind eye. Will Rahul take responsibility now?” he asked.Calling Telangana an “ATM for the Congress,” KTR said the state is witnessing open loot under Congress rule. “What started as posts-for-cash is now full-blown corruption,” he alleged. He urged AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi to respond. “Will they support a CM named in an ED chargesheet, or act decisively against corruption,” he wondered.
