Bhubaneswar: KIIT on Wednesday announced that a scholarship would be instituted in the name of Nepali student Prakriti Lamsal who allegedly died by suicide in the institute’s hostel on Sunday evening. It will be a tribute to her memory, said KIIT founder Achyuta Samanta. The scholarship, as per her father’s desire, will be awarded to meritorious girls from Nepal studying at KIIT.
