Prayagraj: Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya on Monday lashed out at Congress and said while the entire nation was celebrating the success of Operation Sindoor, Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge were speaking the language of Pakistan and questioning the Indian Army.“The atmosphere in the country is joyful since the success of Operation Sindoor but the Kharge-Gandhi duo is sporting a sad face. There have gone into mourning as the Indian Army infiltrated Pakistan and attacked with proof so that Congress and its allies do not ask questions,” he said.Maurya was in Sangam City to attend several events. He added that to please Pakistan, Congress was showering questions about the success of Operation Sindoor, asking how much damage was caused in Pakistan. The Dy CM added that the Gandhi family never had faith in the service of the country. “If there was faith in the Army, there wouldn’t have been the Kashmir problem. Congress knows very well that Indian borders are safe under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This is the reason for their grief which is going to remain,” he said. He also lashed out at Pakistan and said while India became the 4th largest economy under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi the neighbouring country was setting records of becoming an ‘international beggar’.“While Pakistan got a loan of one billion dollars, more than Rs 8000 crore, from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), whereas in our country, the GST collection in the month of April alone was Rs 2 lakh 37 thousand crore,” he said.Maurya also felicitated the block education officer (BEO) and senior teachers for their contribution in the field of education. For excellence in Nipun School, the principal of Primary School Malak Harhar 1, Garima Mehrotra, was felicitated. “Under CM Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, several departments, including Basic Shiksha, have progressed, and there has been a better educational environment in all govt schools.” He claimed that parents are now sending their wards to govt schools after noticing remarkable changes in education and infrastructure. “The path to development is paved only through education and that kids are the future of the country’s, state’s, and family’s development,” he said. Maurya also applauded the efforts of teachers for their contribution to the process of the country.“We are all working to make India a developed nation by 2047,” he added.
