Kerala DHSE Plus 2 results 2025 declared with 77.81% pass percentage: Girls outperform boys; Science stream records highest success – Times of India

The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Kerala, has declared the Kerala Class 12 (Plus 2) Higher Secondary Education (HSE) and Vocational Higher Secondary Education(VHSE) results today, May 22, 2025 at 3:00 PM. The board has officially confirmed. Over 4.44 lakh students who appeared for the state higher secondary examinations will be able to check their results online through multiple official portals.The pass percentage for Class 12th stands at 77.81%, slightly lower than the previous year’s pass rate of 78.69 percent. With the evaluation process now concluded, the results will be published digitally to ensure wide accessibility and timely dissemination. Over 3 lakh students took the exam, and 30145 candidates secured full A+ in all subjects. Ernakulam district has attained the highest pass percentage of 83.09 percent.41 students have scored full marks in all subjects. Kerala Plus Two result 2025 declared: Important details
In the Kerala DHSE Plus Two examinations, a total of 1,63,904 students appeared from government schools, out of which 1,20,027 successfully passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 73.23%. Aided schools saw 1,82,409 candidates take the exam, with 1,49,863 clearing it, marking an 82.16% pass rate. Unaided schools had 23,998 students appear, with 18,218 passing, translating to a 75.91% pass percentage. Meanwhile, special schools recorded the highest success rate, with 331 students appearing and 286 passing, achieving an 86.40% pass rate.The Science stream has recorded the highest pass percentage of 83.5%, followed with a pass rate of 74.21%, while the Humanities stream registered a pass percentage of 69.16%.Malappuram district recorded the highest number of examinees in the Kerala Plus Two exams, with 64,426 students taking the test, while Wayanad had the fewest, with just 9,440 candidates. A total of 105 students achieved perfect scores of 1200 out of 1200, including 7 boys and 34 girls. Additionally, Malappuram led in the number of A+ grade holders, boasting 4,735 students who attained this distinction.

Students wishing to apply for these exams must do so by May 27 without a late fee, while applications submitted by May 29 will incur a fine. For revaluation, photocopy requests, and scrutiny of answer scripts, the last date to apply is May 27, 2025.
