Jharkhand train mishap: 'Railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has some Kavach for sure ... '
Two persons were killed and 20 others injured as at least 18 coaches of the Howrah-Mumbai Mail derailed in Jharkhand early on Tuesday.

MUMBAI: Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and former minister Aaditya Thackeray on Tuesday hit out at the railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw over the series of train accidents across the country.
In a post on ‘X’, Aaditya said that the railway minister enjoys some kind of shield which keeps him safe even after so many mishaps reported during his tenure.

“I don’t know about the trains, but the minister for Railways has some “Kavach” for sure, because of which he hasn’t been sacked even after so many rail accidents in his tenure,” Aaditya Thackeray posted on X.
“Every week we see some accidents, and there’s no action taken. Instead, the Minister has been made the ‘political in- charge’ of bjp Maharashtra for the elections. Shouldn’t he be focusing on the Ministry?,” he added.
Two persons were killed and 20 others injured as at least 18 coaches of the Howrah-Mumbai Mail derailed in Jharkhand‘s Seraikela-Kharsawan district early on Tuesday.
The accident occurred at 3.45am near Barabamboo, around 80 km from Jamshedpur, under the Chakradharpur Division of the South Eastern Railway (SER).
SER spokesperson Om Prakash Charan said there was another derailment of a goods train nearby, but it was not yet clear whether the two accidents occurred concurrently.
He claimed that the “Howrah-Mumbai train hit the stationary goods train”.
The accident site is near the border between West Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharsawan districts.
