Jha hails state’s development under Nitish’s leadership | Patna News – Times of India

Madhubani: JD(U) national working president and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Jha, addressing party workers in Madhubani on Saturday, lauded the development achieved in Bihar under the leadership of chief minister Nitish Kumar. He expressed confidence that the people of Bihar would continue to support Nitish’s leadership in the upcoming elections.
Jha spoke about the strides made in infrastructure, education and healthcare under the current govt. “The Nitish Kumar govt has not only uplifted state’s economy but also improved the standard of living for millions of its residents,” he said.
Dismissing the recent criticisms from opposition parties, Jha called their claims “baseless”. “The opposition has no concrete plans or vision for Bihar’s progress. Their claims are merely attempts to mislead the public,” he said. Jha reaffirmed his trust in Nitish’s vision, saying that he is hopeful for further reforms and developmental projects by 2025.
Reflecting on the transformative period since 2005, when Nitish first came to power, Jha said, “Bihar was in a poor state back then – crime rates were high, roads were non-existent and electricity supply was negligible. Today, we have built infrastructure, provided education and ensured law and order. People know the difference.”
With the 2025 assembly elections approaching, Jha expressed confidence that the results of the Nitish Kumar govt’s work over the years would resonate with voters. “We have delivered results and I am confident that our work will speak louder than words when the time comes,” he said.
