JD(U), BJP workers celebrate NDA’s good show | Patna News – Times of India

In contrast, the atmosphere at the JD(U) office was quite different, with netas and workers in a celebratory mood, enjoying the victory. Both JD(U) and BJP won 12 seats each. Additionally, the gates of the RJD office were locked, with some workers celebrating the victory of Misa Bharti, the eldest daughter of Lalu Prasad, in the Patliputra Lok Sabha constituency.
A similar environment was witnessed at the Congress (INC) office at Sadaquat Ashram. The Congress, which had allied with the RJD in the elections, also managed to secure at least three seats in Bihar. The party netas and workers were seen celebrating the good show and discussing the future course of action for the party in the state.
Raising slogans in favour of Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, the JD(U) workers applied gulal to each other. “Desh ka pradhanmantri kaisa ho, Nitish Kumar jaisa ho,” they heard shouting at the party office. Anupama Devi, a JD(U) worker, said Nitish is the face in Bihar. “He should get a chance to become Prime Minister as he has a clean image compared to other NDA netas,” she said.

Raju Kumar, another JD(U) supporter, said the victory of NDA in Bihar was due to the all-round development of the state, including infrastructure, roads, electricity, employment for youth, and law and order. “The results are good in Bihar. Both BJP and JD(U) workers have helped each other in their constituencies to achieve the maximum number of seats in Lok Sabha. In an alliance, the credit should go to all the parties, not to any individual. Narendra Modi will take oath as PM for the third time with a full majority,” said Sushma Sahu, spokesperson of the BJP. Meanwhile, the workers of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) celebrated the victory of Chirag Paswan by applying gulal to each other’s faces and beating drums in front of his house in Patna.
Similarly, the mood of workers at the residence of HAM supremo Jitan Ram Manjhi was celebratory.
