JD(U) accuses Tejashwi of spreading fake information | Patna News – Times of India

Patna: JD(U) accused leader of Opposition in Bihar assembly, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, of spreading “fake” information to the people about the crime situation through his social media platforms.
The JD(U) alleged that after Tejashwi’s post on X, Patna police found that of the 30 incidents of crime in the past one month mentioned by him, at least six of them could not be verified.Whereas the reason behind an incident of alleged kidnapping was totally “different” as highlighted by the former Dy CM, it said.
“Tejashwiji, please don’t spread rumour in society through social media. Why did you mention incidents when they didn’t take place at all?” JD(U) spokesperson Neeraj Kumar questioned on Saturday, advising him to mention incidents only after getting full details of the cases.
“Please avoid creating fear and tension in the society by making baseless allegations,” Kumar further advised Tejashwi.
The JD(U) leader took potshots at the RJD leader after the Patna police said in its remarks against six cases that “the incidents could not be verified due to unavailability of detailed information.”
