The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) will hold a re-examination for the Class 10 Hindi and Science board exams 2025. The re-test is scheduled for March 7 and 8, 2025, as reported by PTI. On February 20, JAC canceled the board exams for both subjects after the question papers were allegedly leaked on social media.
The Hindi exam will take place on March 7, 2025, followed by the Science exam on March 8, 2025. According to PTI, the Jharkhand Police has recently arrested 10 people in connection with the alleged paper leak.
JAC began the Class 10 (matriculation) and Class 12 (intermediate) board exams 2025 on February 11, 2025. Over 7.84 lakh students have enrolled for the exams, which are being conducted at over 2,000 centers across the state.
The cancelled Class 10 Hindi board exam was held on February 18 and Class 10 Science board exam was held on February 20, 2025. The previous notice read, ‘“This is to inform all students, parents, concerned principals, center superintendents, and relevant officials regarding the Annual Secondary Examination 2025 that, in light of the information received through viral social media posts and newspapers, the Hindi (Course A & Course B) exam held on 18.02.2025 in the first shift and the Science exam held on 20.02.2025 in the first shift have been canceled. The date for the re-examination of these subjects will be announced later.”
