IOCL’s Paradip refinery conducts emmergency mock drills | Bhubaneswar News
Kendrapada: Indian Oil Corporation Limited‘s (IOCL) Paradip refinery conducted an emergency mock drill on Tuesday to evaluate its preparedness for managing incidents beyond its premises.
The exercise was organised in collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including mutual aid industries, to simulate disaster scenarios and test response capabilities. It was executed as per the refinery’s approved emergency response and disaster management plan.
The drill scenario involved an oil leak resulting in spillage into Santa Creek. Teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), state fire services, and IOCL’s Paradip refinery fire services actively participated in the drill alongside officials from other Paradip-based industries.
