India can become Vishwaguru with focus on peace & spirituality: Minister Nitin Gadkari | Mumbai News – The Times of India

MUMBAI: Union minister for road transport and highways Nitin Gadkari said at a function in the city on Monday that India is on the “highway” to becoming a Vishwaguru.
Gadkari was speaking at spiritual master Acharya Upendraji‘ s Antar Yog Gurukul at Fort in South Mumbai. He launched the book Guru Gita With Commentary compiled by spiritual guru Acharya Upendraji.
Gadkari said that, apart from Yoga, the concept of world peace is the best export to India. “With our rich, diverse history, culture and ancient wisdom, India can play a pioneering role in establishing world peace,”he said. “The world is recognising our life style and there is a need to combine scientific knowledge with spiritual awakening.
Acharya Upendraji said that India can become a Vishwaguru if three entities, Economy, Armed Forces joined hands and worked closely. He urged Gadkari to take pay some attention to “spiritual highways”.
“You are known for making big highways and creating infrastructure. We need to invest in spiritual well-being too,” he said.
