Chhapra: Inaugurating department’s stall at the Sonepur fair on Sunday, fisheries minister Renu Devi said through the kiosk people would get information about new schemes of the Bihar govt to promote pisciculture besides the new technology and innovation in the field.
Elaborating the newly introduced schemes, the minister said Biofloc tank, model of comprehensive ‘chawar’ development projects, drugs to prevent diseases in fish and ways of increasing oxygen in water have been displayed at the exhibition.
She said the department’s schemes have been exhibited through digital methods also. Principal secretary of the department, N Vijaya Lakshmi and other officials were present on this occasion.
