IIM Sambalpur’s annual fest a roaring success

Sambalpur: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur wrapped up its annual fest, Ethos’25, marking three days of intellectual, cultural and sporting excellence. The event drew participation from premier institutions across the country.
The festival, inaugurated by Anshu Pragyan Das, divisional forest officer of Hirakud wildlife Ddivision, alongside IIM Sambalpur director Mahadeo Jaiswal, showcased a diverse array of events from Jan 16-18.
“Ethos’25 exemplifies our commitment to holistic development,” said Rudresh Srivastava, festival convenor. “The overwhelming response from participants across India reinforces our vision of fostering talent and innovation,” he added.
The business segment featured cutting-edge competitions, including an operations-themed treasure hunt by Sigmato and strategy challenges by Consiglio. The sports arena, managed by Utkrishtha, witnessed fierce competition from institutions like IIM Ranchi and Maharaja Agrasen College across multiple disciplines.
Cultural events emerged as major crowd-pullers, with Kalakriti’s “Singing Soul” and Natyrang’s monologue competition drawing enthusiastic participation. The fashion show “Styloholic” by Magnum Opus captured attention with its innovative presentations. TNN
