Bhubaneswar: Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Bhubaneswar subsection, has been elevated to IEEE Bhubaneswar. This will be the 14th section in the country and will operate under the aegis of IEEE India Council. The elevation was approved by the IEEE MGA Board, USA.
IEEE USA is a leading technical society working globally towards various verticals, including technical activities, social outreach and similar disseminations.
IEEE Bhubaneswar section has been operating with eight society chapters, including Women in Engineering and Young Affinity groups, 17 student chapters, and 10 student society chapters, an IEEE India Council statement read.TNN
