The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has opened the registration window with late fee for the Company Secretary (CS) June 2025 exam today, March 26, 2025. Candidates who missed the previous deadline can now apply for the CS Executive or CS Professional exams on the official website, icsi.edu, or through the SMASH portal till April 9, 2025. Since the registration deadline has already passed once, an additional late fee of INR 250 will be applicable for candidates who will register for the exam. The exams will be conducted from June 1 to June 10, 2025, in both English and Hindi.

To be eligible for the CS Executive exam, candidates must complete the online pre-exam test and the One-Day Orientation Programme (ODOP). For the CS Professional exam, completing the online pre-exam test is mandatory.

Candidates must follow these steps to complete the registration process:
Step 1. Visit the official website of ICSI at icsi.edu.
Step 2. Go to the ‘SMASH Portal’ and log in with credentials.
Step 3. Select the ‘CS June 2025 Exam’ and proceed to fill the application form with required details as guided by the portal.
Step 4. Pay the applicable examination fee along with the late fee.
Step 5. Review and submit the application form. Keep a copy of the confirmation page saved for future reference.

ICSI CS 2025 registration window: Exam fee
Candidates must pay a late fee of ₹250 along with the standard exam fee. The fee structure is as follows:
- CS Executive exam: INR 1,500 per group
- CS Professional exam: INR 1,800 per module or group
- Fee for modifications in exam centre, module, language, or optional subject: INR 250 per change
- Service charge: INR 250 (in addition to the exam fee)
- Overseas candidates (Dubai centre): USD 100 surcharge
ICSI CS 2025 registration window: Exemption cancellation deadline
Candidates who scored 60% or more in the December 2024 exams will receive automatic paper-wise exemptions for June 2025. However, those who do not wish to avail of the exemption must apply for cancellation by May 1, 2025, by 4:00 PM through the SMASH portal.
Candidates should ensure they meet the eligibility criteria and complete the application process before the deadline to avoid any last-minute issues.
