A SpiceJet flight SG 2696, en route from Hyderabad to Tirupati, made an unscheduled return. The flight experienced a technical issue shortly after its departure from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.

NEW DELHI: A SpiceJet flight from Hyderabad to Tirupati was forced to return shortly after takeoff on Thursday morning due to a technical snag, according to sources. Flight SG 2696, which was scheduled to depart at 6.10am, took off at 6.19am and was expected to land in Tirupati at 7.40am. However, the aircraft returned and landed safely at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport soon after takeoff, the sources said.
