Bhubaneswar: The state govt will include five additional services provided by housing and urban development department under the Odisha Right to Public Services Act, 2012. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has issued a direction on Thursday.
The five new services to be included are permission for modification and connection or amendment of building plans (Time limit: 15 to 30 days), permission for revalidation of building plans (Time limit: seven days), plinth approval (Time limit: 7 days), provisional certificate for trade license (Time limit: 1 day) and final certificate for trade license (Time limit: 90 days).
Earlier, 26 services of the housing and urban development department were included under this Act. With these five services, a total of 422 services from 31 departments are now covered under the Act.
The govt is committed to providing all notified services under this Act to the public within specified time. TNN
