HPBOSE postpones board exams 2025 in snow-hit areas: Check important details here | – The Times of India

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has postponed the annual Board examinations 2025 in snow-hit areas of Pangi in Chamba district and Lahaul-Spiti district, which were scheduled to be conducted on 4th March 2025. The board posted an official notice on its website to announce this decision. The step was taken due to heavy rains and snowfall, which have caused extensive damage to roads in these regions. The revised dates for the postponed exams will be announced soon by the board.
The postponed exams include those for Classes 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12. However, the board examinations will be conducted as scheduled in the remaining parts of the state. Around 1.95 lakh students are set to appear for the Class 10 and 12 board examinations this year across 2,300 exam centers.

The official notice reads, “Due to heavy rains and snowfall in the state, there has been extensive damage to the roads in Pangi of Chamba district and Lahaul-Spiti district.
