High-Profile Joinings Boost Grand Alliance in Bihar | Patna News – Times of India

Patna: The Grand Alliance received a boost with two prominent people joining it in the past two days.
On Saturday, a leading businessman and CMD of a real estate company, Sanjeev Mishra, joined the Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) headed by Mukesh Sahani at a function organised in Patna. “Mishra is a big face and his joining will boost the party,” Sahani told reporters.
Mishra said he had been following Sahani for the past six years and eventually joined his party, inspired by the VIP chief’s “zero-to-hero” story. He promised to strengthen the party base in the Mithila region, claiming the changes would be visible in the next two months.
A day earlier, a senior official who retired from the Union ministry, Ravindra Mohan, joined the RJD during Tejashwi Prasad Yadav’s yatra to Begusarai. “I will work hard to strengthen the RJD base in the state,” Mohan said after joining the party.
Stating that he will work to organise the youth and ignite the objectives of the RJD, Mohan said Bihar would see change and comprehensive development under party chief Lalu Prasad.
