Chhapra: Two state-level officials visited the community health centre (CHC) in Manjhi, Saran, on Thursday to evaluate its performance under the central govt’s ‘Kayakalp’ scheme aimed at improving the quality of healthcare services for patients. Saran DPRO Ravindra Kumar said the team included Bhawana from the State Health Committee and Raj Kamal Sharma from UNICEF.
“The team thoroughly inspected the cleanliness, patient facilities, infection control practices and medical equipment,” said the DPRO. He added that they also met with the medical officers, reviewed the registers and examined other relevant documents.
When asked for further details, the DPRO said that the team also checked the availability and storage of medicines, immunization processes, the labour room, biomedical waste management and other essential facilities. The team expressed satisfaction with the arrangements at this centre.
