Kendrapada: Police booked headmaster of Haji Rahamia High School, Brahmabarada village in Jajpur district on Friday for allegedly using corporal punishment on a 14-year-old student. The student, Abez Khan of Class VIII, suffered injuries as the headmaster, Alok Biswal, beat him on his hand and leg multiple times with a bamboo stick on Friday. Farida Khatun, the student’s mother, lodged an FIR in Bramahabarada police station against the headmaster.
