Group-I aspirants petition Telangana HC over evaluation process | Hyderabad News

HYDERABAD: More than 20 Group-I aspirants from Telangana have filed a petition in the Telangana high court, challenging the evaluation process of their answer sheets. They alleged that the Telangana Public Service Commission (TSPSC) and the state government failed to appoint qualified subject experts, compromising fairness and transparency.
During the hearing on Monday, Justice N Rajeshwar Rao directed officials to submit records related to the evaluation process and scheduled the next hearing in four weeks.
The petitioners claimed that the Commission’s approach to evaluating answer sheets was illegal, improper, and in violation of natural justice principles.
They argued that appointing unqualified evaluators for assessment was legally unsustainable.
The aspirants urged the court to instruct the Commission and the government to halt all further proceedings related to the selection process until a fair evaluation system is ensured.
