Bhubaneswar: State govt on Wednesday began preparations for the 77th capital foundation day celebrations to be held on April 13 and 14. A high-level preparatory meeting was held, where senior officials discussed key arrangements to ensure a grand and smooth event.
Celebrations will feature cultural programmes, exhibitions and public engagement activities, highlighting Bhubaneswar’s rich history, heritage and development journey. Officials emphasised the need for inter-departmental coordination to facilitate seamless execution of planned events.
Security arrangements, traffic management and public participation were among the crucial aspects discussed. Authorities are keen to make the event inclusive, encouraging citizens to take part in the festivities.TNN
