Hyderabad: Banjara Hills police registered a rape case against a govt doctor working in Mahabubabad for sexually exploiting a 34-year-old woman doctor working in the city after concealing his marriage. The accused also promised to marry the victim, and due to the exploitation, she became pregnant.The complainant told police that she was recently exploited by the accused in a star hotel at Road Number 1 in Banjara Hills three days ago. The victim said she first met the accused about a year ago when he attended a seminar in Hyderabad. “The 40-year-old accused lied to her, claiming that he was unmarried. He promised to marry her, and they became intimate. After she met him recently at a star hotel in Banjara Hills, the complainant came to know that he is already married.She became pregnant due to the exploitation,” said a Banjara Hills police official.The lady doctor lodged a complaint with Banjara Hills police on Monday, alleging that the accused lied to her about his marriage and cheated her by sexually exploiting her. On her complaint, police registered a case under sections 69 (Sexual intercourse by employing deceitful means etc.) of BNS on Monday. The victim was sent for medical examination. The accused is yet to be arrested.
