Bhubaneswar: The govt on Thursday dismissed Mandakini Kar, chairperson of Odisha State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (OSCPCR), and five other members — Sasmita Nanda, Ruby Vishal, Susri Jalina Priyadarshini, Chhabi Mahali and Anita Behera.
The govt had issued a show cause notice to the chairperson and members on Nov 16, 2024 based on various allegations against them. Kar and other members challenged the notice in Orissa high court, which dismissed their petition after reviewing the facts. TNN
