Government to hire social media influencers to boost tourism in Bihar | Patna News – Times of India
Patna: State tourism minister Nitish Mishra on Thursday urged the social media influencers of the state to help develop “Brand Bihar” as a tourist destination. He said that the department was making all efforts to attract maximum tourists in the region.
“The department will work for the next one year on plans and programmes that would help develop conducive atmosphere for tourism promotion.We want to establish ‘Brand Bihar’ in the field of tourism so that tourists can enjoy their stay for longer periods and return with wonderful memories. And in all this, we urge the social media influencers of the region to come forward and do the needful,” said the minister in a meeting with the influencers and bloggers among others here.
He added the department was ready to provide all possible help to the social media influencers, comprising radio and video jockeys, bloggers and video bloggers for popularizing ‘Brand Bihar’ on their respective medium. “The department is working on ‘One Block, One Tourist Destination’, as each block of the state has a good tourism centre.”
