BHUBANESWAR: Dubbing his govt as people’s govt, chief minister Mohan Majhi on Wednesday sought suggestions from the public before preparing the state budget.
Finance department has decided to receive the suggestions through a special web portal, email, WhatsApp, SMS and social media websites of the finance department.
Public can send their suggestions through the web portal www.budget.odisha.gov.in.They can get more details about the process on this website.
People can send their suggestions between June 20 and July 5. “We request public, civil society organisations and other forums to take part in the process to help govt for preparation of the state budget,” said the chief minister in an official statement.
