BHUBANESWAR: A goods train derailed at the yard of Manchaeswar railway station at around 1.35am on Monday.
The restoration efforts at the affected site are being supervised by high-ranking officials from the railway department.
No casualties or damage to property were reported in the incident.
The Down line was cleared at 5.05am, allowing for the resumption of train movement.Currently, trains are operating on both the Up and Down lines.
Due to the derailment, two trains have been cancelled, while six others have had their schedules adjusted.
The Rourkela-Puri-Rourkela Express train has been shortened, now terminating between Angul and Puri in both direction.
