Goats & chickens killed during Cidco demolition, animal activists file plaint | Mumbai News – The Times of India

Navi Mumbai: Animal rights activists from People for Animals (PFA) have complained against Cidco for carelessly killing two goats and several chickens while demolishing a shed structure in Taloja where the animals and birds were kept.
The Head of PFA, Vijay Rangare, said: “It is unfortunate and shocking that Cidco’s demolition squad did not carefully remove all the goats, sheep, and poultry birds before demolishing the shed in Taloja Panchnand, Sector 8, Survey Number 329, on February 27. While two goats were killed, several chickens also died as the JCB recklessly crushed the structure.”
When TOI contacted Cidco their spokesperson said that they need to “examine this matter” before making any statement. Vijay Singh
