Gang Arrested with Weapons in Keonjhar Forest | Bhubaneswar News
Keonjhar: Police arrested six members of a gang from Sidhamath forest in Keonjhar district during night patrolling on Sunday. Police seized weapons and vehicles from them.
The accused are identified as Sheikh Rizwan (24), Pramod Kumar Mallik (28), Shrikant Sethi (32), Sanjay Kumar Mallik (31), Tukuna Majhi (29) and Dinesh Mallik (26), all from Jajpur district, police said.
Police recovered a four-wheeler, Rs 1,900 cash, a sharp weapon, six lathis, seven mobile phones and five liquor bottles. “A case has been registered. We are investigating the intention of the arrested persons,” said Srikanta Sahu, IIC of Town police station.TNN
