Rourkela: A man who axed his mother to death in 2019 and was on the run for over five years was nabbed by Sundargarh police on Saturday evening. A non-bailable arrest warrant was issued against him by the sub-divisional judicial magistrate, Bonai, in March 2020. “We arrested the murder accused based on the non-bailable arrest warrant issued against him and he is now in jail,” said A K Behera, sub-inspector, K Balang police station.TNN
