Bhubaneswar: Muribahal police in Balangir district Friday arrested three persons in connection with a robbery case. Sub divisional police officer (SDPO) of Kantabanji, Gouranga Charan Sahu, said, “They used fake uniform of an IG rank official of Bhubaneswar Special Branch, and fake IDs to carry out the robbery,” he said. Fake IPS officers‘ uniforms and fake identity cards were seized from the accused identified as Akhil Kumbhar of Saharapali village in Bargarh, Amar Das of Badudar village and Sibu Khuntia of Tikrapada village, both in Balangir. They were produced in court.
