Four pairs of spl trains to handle winter rush | Patna News – Times of India

Patna: The railways has decided to run four pairs of special passenger trains on the Patna-Anand Vihar, Gaya-Coimbatore, Muzaffarpur-Secunderabad and Muzaffarpur-Pune routes to accommodate the increased passenger traffic during the winter season.
According to East Central Railway‘s chief public relations officer, Saraswati Chandra, services on the Patna-Anand Vihar route began from Jan 2. The train will depart from Patna every Thursday and Sunday at 10.20pm and reach Anand Vihar the following evening. The return train will depart from Anand Vihar every Monday and Friday at 11.30pm, arriving in Patna the next evening.
Similarly, the Gaya-Coimbatore special will begin operations on Jan 4. It will depart from Gaya every Saturday at 7.35pm and reach Coimbatore by Monday evening. The return service will leave Coimbatore every Tuesday at 7.50am and reach Gaya by Thursday morning.
The Muzaffarpur-Secunderabad special will start its services from Jan 7. It will depart from Muzaffarpur every Tuesday at 10.40am, reaching Secunderabad by Wednesday night. The train will leave Secunderabad every Thursday morning and reach Muzaffarpur on Friday evening.
The Muzaffarpur-Pune special train will begin operating from Jan 6 with departures from Muzaffarpur every Monday evening. The train will arrive in Pune by Wednesday morning.
