Prayagraj: A couple and their two minor daughters were killed after being struck by lightning in Sonvarsa Hallabol village in Prayagraj late Saturday night. The deceased were identified as Virendra Banbasi (35), his wife Parvati (32) and their daughters Radha (3) and Karishma (2). According to the police, the incident took place when the family members were sleeping in their thatched house. Theys said the entire hut was damaged in the incident, and the charred bodies were sent for postmortem.
