Bengaluru: In a pre-dawn operation Thursday, Lokayukta sleuths raided four govt officials in Bengaluru, Kolar, Yadgir and Davanagere and booked them on charges of possessing assets disproportionate to their known sources of income.Lokayukta police carried out the raids in more than 20 places.Taluk health officer from Surapura in Yadgir, Raja Venkappa Nayak, topped the chart with assets worth Rs 12.6 crore, including Rs 4 lakh in cash, 11 sites, 13 acres of agricultural land, petrol bunk, nursing home, lodge and bar.Other raided officials are Suresh Babu G, survey supervisor, assistant director of land records and survey settlement, Kolar, with Rs 8.8 crore in assets, including three sites, five houses, five acres of agricultural land and Rs 3 lakh in cash; MB Ravi, assistant executive engineer, Karnataka Urban Water Supply and Drainage Board, Davanagere, with Rs 2.3 crore in assets, including four sites and two houses; Srinivas Murthy, executive engineer, BBMP’s Malleswaram zone, with over Rs 3.4 crore in assets, including four sites, six houses and Rs 10 lakh in cash.
