Hyderabad: Former minister and BRS leader V Srinivas Goud urged Union minister for heavy industries HD Kumaraswamy to set up a cement factory in Mahbubnagar, highlighting the district’s rich natural resources, including limestone, laterite, and stone.
He emphasised the availability of semi-skilled workers and labour, along with the district’s strategic connectivity to Greater Hyderabad, Raichur industrial corridor, and Gulbarga. Srinivas Goud requested the centre to set up the factory under the Cement Corporation of India.
