Bhubaneswar: Some female students of ANM Training Centre in Deogarh district have filed a complaint with chief district medical and public health officer (CDM&PHO) against their training centre authorities, following a food poisoning incident that led to the hospitalisation of 11 students last week. The students were admitted to the district headquarters hospital (DHH) on Nov 15 after experiencing severe stomach pain, vomiting, and diarrhoea following dinner. While eight students have been discharged, three remain under medical care. CDM&PHO Biswa Mohan Mishra confirmed receiving complaints about the mess food quality. “We have discussed the issues with the students and will take appropriate action,” Mishra said. TNN
