Five Namma Metro stations receive platinum ratings | Bengaluru News

Bengaluru: Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has received platinum ratings from IGBC (Indian Green Building Council) for five stations along Reach-4B: Konanakunte Cross, Doddakallasandra, Vajarahalli, Talaghattapura, and Silk Institute. This recognition falls under the MRTS Elevated Stations category, awarded by the green building certification organisation.
A press release from BMRCL states that the stations showcase BMRCL’s dedication to sustainability through various initiatives. These include energy-efficient lighting and HVAC systems, solar power integration for operations, water conservation through rainwater collection and recycling, and eco-friendly construction materials.
