Farm Labourer: Farm labourer dies of lightning burns | Bhubaneswar News
Sambalpur: A 46-year-old farm labourer, who was among three struck by lightning in a paddy field in Tabla village in the district on Wednesday, died of burn injuries on Friday. The deceased was identified as Sapan Munda.
Shrikanta Pradhan (41), the paddy field owner, and Sumanta Majhi (36), another farm labourer, were injured. Though Shrikanta is out of danger, Sumanta is critical.Both are admitted to a private hospital. The district disaster management authority said ex gratia of Rs 6 lakh will be sanctioned for the family of the deceased.TNN
